Didn’t this year just start??? And now it’s over! My Christmas decorations are packed away after a major purging! If there is such a thing as an anti-hoarder, then I am one. I decorate early and I love it but when it’s over, it’s OVER!!! I love to start the year with a clean, fresh slate. Curtains have come down (some not to be replaced) and a major de-cluttering is going on!! I’m in the process of selecting paint colors and can’t wait to get started!
Thanks so much for stopping by. You have no idea how much I appreciate it. I wish everyone a Happy, Healthy and Peaceful New Year!
Am I the only one who can’t believe Christmas is only 5 days away?!? Time flies! So I guess if I want to share any more of my Christmas decorating, now is the time. When I scroll through Instagram or check out Pottery Barn and the like it’s fun to see the new trends and ideas. But I pretty much use the same things every year and just add greens, flowers and bowls of fruit and ornaments. Pretty old school, I guess.
I purchased a bar cart this past summer and I love it! It serves an obvious purpose but it’s fun to decorate seasonally as well. So here it is, along with a few other touches of Christmas in my home.
Thanks for taking a peek. It’s so much fun to see that people are actually reading this! From all over the country! And actually even the world (well maybe one person from outside the country!). I am so appreciative.
We have a couple of perfectly shaped Christmas trees in our yard but they have just gotten too big and tall to light. Since I didn’t want to break a leg attempting that, I decided to just light up the house. Lights around the pillars, a few lit wreathes and spot lights and done! Then I came across some really good quality indoor-outdoor red velvet ribbon – Candy Cane House!! Thanks for stopping by!
Well, to be honest this is a little harder than I thought. It’s hard to write when you know no one is reading (lol!)! Add to that I am technologically impaired! Great combo to attempt to start a blog! I’m going to activate my facebook account and link it to the blog. Hopefully that will motivate me to actually post. For now, my millions of readers, here’s a little glimpse into Christmas present at my house!! Starting with snipets of the dining room and living room. Stay turned, more to come!
